Several years ago I sat in a room full of people listening to Les Brown the motivational and inspirational speaker. He stated “you have to do today what others will not do to have tomorrow what others will to have not.” That statement resonated with me in that I was so moved to the point that I began the process of looking for an entrepreneurship opportunity. Consequently I have embarked upon an entrepreneurial opportunity and it has led me to experience great and amazing inner transformation in how I think and view things. I have always loved and will always love the corporate arena. But since my new adventure I have learned more about me and I am enjoying this amazing journey of being a business owner.
Have you considered starting your own business? You can start small and grow your business over time. Entrepreneurship is having a mindset of breaking out from the norm which will position you in unfamiliar territory. However if you are persistent and patient you can have success. Entrepreneurship is not for everyone as you must have an immense amount of self-discipline, an intrinsic drive and ambition.
If you are working in the corporate arena entrepreneurship can apply as well because you are totally in control of the level of performance you would like to yield. You are the only one that can grow and develop as you desire thus your growth is up to you. So whether you are an entrepreneur (own your business) or working in the corporate arena the one principal that applies to either is not being content where you are; desiring more out of oneself to the point that success is an ongoing process not a destination. Therefore I encourage you to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. When you develop this type of mindset you will come to realize you are the owner of your destiny and no one is responsible for your success but you.
