At some point in your life you will encounter stress. Stress is anxiety, pressure, tension or worry that can be caused by a variety of things. You can experience stress in your relationships, on your job, in your family and even in your church. The best method to assist you with managing your stress is having good health. Whenever I experience stress I hit the gym for some me time with the weights and treadmill. This time allows me the opportunity to release the tension that my body experiences. The next time you are tense take a walk and just spend time meditating on positive thoughts and affirmation. Also eating healthy meals help with alleviating stress because it gives your body the proper nutrition it needs so you can handle tensions and anxiety better. If you eat a lot of junk food when you are worried you can compound your stress because you are now putting your body in jeopardy of responding negatively to the unhealthy foods. Also to alleviate stress try getting a full body massage as this will assist you with releasing tense muscles caused by stress. Yoga is a great stress manager as well as it stretches your body and calms your spirit. Most important to manage stress is meditating on God’s word and relax in God’s presence.
