2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. (KJV)
“Faith makes things possible but not easy” Steve Harvey
In life we all experience a multitude of situations that cause us to doubt and lose hope! However when you face your difficult moments in life I encourage you to stay in Faith despite what you see or feel. In the bible David faced the Goliath and he stayed in faith despite the size of Goliath. Goliath was taller than David, he had heavy armor artillery to fight with and Goliath was experienced in fighting wars. Likewise whatever you are currently facing now; unemployment, loss of a loved one, broken relationship, health challenges, and the list goes on. Don’t allow your faith to be moved by a momentary situation. The situation you’re currently facing is there to strengthen your faith. Your personal Goliath situation is there to show you how strong you really are and to bring you closer to God. Your current Goliath is there to teach you that God is truly faithful to you and your dreams and purpose in life. Therefore stay in faith despite what you see. Second stay in faith despite what you feel. What you are feeling may not currently align with what you believe in your mind but keep believing in God. Emotions are cyclically they go up and down. Emotions are not stable they are moved by what you see and feel the current moment. Do not rely or allow your emotions to dictate your faith. Thirdly how do you stay in faith that is to daily feed your mind and spirit the word of God and prayer fervently. The word of God is the seed that will take root in your mind and it will cause you to face and withstand when you face your Goliath situation. The truth of God’s word will bring about peace in your inner man. When you consistently read God’s word and pray you are building up a spiritual artillery that will propel you through your difficulty moments. The word of God states in 2 Corinthians 4:17 “for our light affliction, which is but for a moment…” In conclusion whatever you may currently be facing or will every face God’s grace is sufficient thus stay in faith and God will sustain and strengthen you through the trails you face. Finally you can stay in Faith despite what you see, feel or experience.
