Making snacks an important part of your health regime is crucial for balancing your intake and keeping your metabolism working. Snacks are part of your daily calorie intake thus you want to eat snacks that are healthy and low in calories. Healthy snacks are not always distasteful but they are needful. Good healthy snacks are fresh and all natural.

Snacks that burn fat are apples, almonds, smoothie, protein bar, no carb protein shake, hardboiled egg, and green tea. Snacks that are under 50 calories are a small box of raisin, a small apple, cherries, half of banana, strawberries, grapes, edamame, celery, carrots, fat-free Greek yogurt with half a teaspoon of sugar-free jam for a sweet craving, a brown rice cake, cherry tomatoes are pint sized balls, grapefruits, Asian miso soup, avocados, cottage cheese on celery stalks and turkey inside a lettuce leaf.

The key to healthy snacking is not to overindulge despite the fact that the snack is healthy. Overindulging can still be too much calorie intake. You must burn more calories than you intake and this will help you to lose weight or if you are at a healthy size maintain.
