“The center of His will is our only safety – let us pray that we may always know it!” Corrie ten Boom
Someone once asked me how do I know the will of God in a situation? The will of God is God’s sovereignty being executed in my life. The greatest challenge for mankind is not if we know God’s will it is following God’s will. It is aligning our life and decisions with God’s plan for our life. God’s will is His desire for us in a given matter. God has a plan for our life and His will is God’s game plan for our life. In every situation God desires what is best for us. We must know and understand that God wants to see each of us fulfill our greatest purpose. Therefore when you are challenged to understand and know God’s will, pause and determine if what you are facing aligns with God’s purpose for your life. If it doesn’t then it is more likely not God’s will. Second if you do not have a great deal of peace about something or a decision then it is more likely not God’s will for you. Inner Peace becomes the empire to determining God’s will. According to Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. The key to this passage is not to harm you and this is imperative when it comes to knowing God’s will. God desires for you to have the best and not to hurt or harm you so God wants you to receive and experience good at all times. Even when bad things happen in our life such as trials and tribulations it can turn out for your good. God brings good out of difficult situations. Therefore the will of God is what’s best for you in a situation and that which brings you inner joy and peace.
