Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
“If there is to be any peace it will come through being, not having.” Henry Miller
To experience peace in your life you must possess peace within. Peace within comes first an intimate walk and relationship with God. Once you have a firm relationship with God you can seek God’s presence to fill you. The peace of God comes when you yield yourself to God and God’s will for your life. Having peace within and a settled spirit then you brings peace to all of your interactions and dealings with others. There are some people that thrive upon chaos, conflict and confusion as it becomes their norm. Yet according to scripture God is not the author of confusion. If you find yourself consistently in the midst of chaos and conflict you must examine within if you are the cause and if not is it the persons you are associated with. This life makes one unhappy and unpleasant to be around.
I encourage you to seek God for His peace and will for your life and you’ll find inner joy and happiness. Peace is about having a deep inner resolve within you in which God’s spirit transcend your situations. A lack of peace also brings you into a place of great worrying and anxiety. I know as we look around the world today there are many things that are happening as well as your personal experiences that cause you to become anxious and discontent. Yet I believe in the scriptures that states be of good cheer in this world you’ll have tribulations but I have overcome the world. This passage teaches us that in this world you and I will experience some difficult days but we can still have faith in the fact that God will give us the strength to overcome therefore you can still have an inner disposition of peach despite what you see, feel or experience. Most important the peace of God is your compass for life. When you are wondering about a situation if it’s God’s will or what’s best for you look within and if you have peace about it then you go in that direction. If you don’t have peace about a situation then it’s more than like not the best for you.
